ITEMS ACCEPTED:
Construction and demolition debris, scrap metal, appliances, yard waste (excluding grass), waste oil, porcelain toilets, basins and sink fixtures, and recyclables. Fees may apply.

ITEM NOT ACCEPTED:
Household trash, furniture, mattresses, box springs, tires, carpets, padding, textile items, stumps, grass, dirt, sand and rocks, hypodermic needles and hazardous materials.

Debris Disposal Fees (when applicable) :
0 to 100 pounds (minimum charge) $8.00
101 pounds and up - $.08 a pound or $160 per ton

NOTE: Smithtown does not follow the same holiday schedule as Huntington. It is recommended that residents telephone 631-269-6600 to ensure the landfill is open before bringing items for disposal.
