Whether your puppy has lost its way or an animal needs a home, the Town of Huntington Animal Shelter is here to help. A division of Huntington's Public Safety Department and primary provider of the Town's animal-related services, including:

• Sheltering Stray & Unwanted Animals
• Reconnecting Lost Pets with Owners
• Administering the Dog Adoption Program
• Staffing the Shelter's Volunteer Program
• Community Outreach & Education on Animal Care & Behavior
• Enforcing Huntington's Animal Control Ordinances

Dogs Available for Adoption

The Huntington Animal Shelter & Adoption Center staff are dedicated to helping the homeless pets in our township. We are proud of the fact that over 94% of the animals that come to us are saved because of the implementation of adoption and training programs.

Adoption Fee: $103.50 (covers spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip identification and dog license)
