Spring Tulip Festival
An annual event in Huntington village, the Tulip Festival is a free, family-oriented, floral festival featuring more than 20,000 tulips, hands-on children’s activity booths, family performances on the Chapin Rainbow Stage, art exhibitions, lectures & demonstrations; refreshment sales booths. The event is held from 11 AM - 4 PM on the first Sunday in May, rain or shine, although outdoor activities at the Festival can potentially be suspended for lightning.

Booth Application: Groups intending to sponsor a booth at the festival must complete and submit a Booth Application. Only festival appropriate free child and family oriented activity booths are considered. Activities with a floral or gardening theme or related to the Festival’s Heckscher Park setting are strongly encouraged. No applications for commercial booths or purely informational booths should be be submitted.

Shuttle to the Sheep-to-Shawl Festival: The Town offers a free shuttle to the nearby “Sheep-to-Shawl Festival” presented by the Huntington Historical Society at the historic 1795 Doctor Daniel W. Kissam House & Museum at 423 Park Avenue, Huntington, which runs simultaneously with the Tulip Festival.
