Harborfields Community Playground Renovation

In May 2017, the Town and the Harborfields School District signed a 10-year agreement under which the Town agreed to maintain the school-owned open space behind the Harborfields Library, known as Pickle Park.

As part of the agreement, the Town and School District committed to a joint project to construct a new handicap accessible Playground and to share the estimated $400,000 construction cost. The town's Engineering and Planning departments finalized the playground design based on a review of public comments submitted this spring. Below are links to the final Playground Construction Plan, as well as a summary of Public Comments and design alterations incorporated into the project resulting from those comments.

The Town expects the new playground be completed in September 2018.
