What Happens To My Recyclables?

When you recycle something, its “life” doesn’t end in an incinerator or a landfill. When you recycle something, you give it a chance to come back as something completely new, or to come back similar to what it was before. Why throw paper in the garbage when it can come back as new paper? When you recycle, you make something valuable and usable again, and you help the environment by conserving natural resources.

To find out what happens to the items collected curbside follow the links on the right side of the webpage. There is a lot that goes on that you don’t get to see. The bottom line is that if you put something in your recycling bin, it will get recycled and come back as something new. It’s up to you to make the right choice. Knowing what a recycled item can become may help you make the right choice. Click on the link to find out What Recyclables Can Become
