Jay Best

Jay is a veteran environmental scientist and engineer who started working in the environmental industry over 20 years ago. But for the last couple of years he has dedicated himself to improving the home environment and energy efficiency of residential customers.

Jay earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from MIT and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Jay holds several BPI Certifications (including Building Analyst, Envelope Specialist and Heating Specialist) and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is co-chair of the Long Island Chapter of Efficiency First.
