“The Holiday Pet Food Drive”

Huntington, NY –This holiday season, Councilwoman Susan A. Berland and the Huntington Youth Council are sponsoring the “Holiday Pet Food Drive” to help families in the Town of Huntington. Town of Huntington residents are invited to participate by donating pet food to the official drop-off boxes at the Huntington Animal Shelter and Town Hall from December 11th to the 23rd. All donations will be given to the Harry Chapin Food Bank and Humanitarian Center in Huntington Station.

The Huntington Youth Council was founded in 2003 by Councilwoman Berland and is comprised of students from each public high school in the Town of Huntington. They meet twice a month to discuss issues that affect the youth in our community and plan events that engage their peers in local issues and community service.
