Carle Place –Huntington Town
Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci was honored with a Distinguished Service Award by
Hofstra University’s George M. Estabrook Alumni Association at Chateau Briand
in Carle Place on Sunday, December 16.
“My career trajectory has been
profoundly influenced by the opportunities afforded to me as a student at
Hofstra Univserity and now as an adjunct professor. I incorporate aspects of my
role in government in the classroom when I am teaching and every semester I
have welcomed former students to intern in my office, so the teaching continues
outside of the classroom,” said Supervisor Lupinacci in his acceptance speech.
“I am a believer that the mark of any society is its educational system and the
belief that the education of the next generation is the primary responsibility
of the generation then governing. Thank you again for this great honor.”
Supervisor Lupinacci earned his Bachelors
Degree in Political Science from Hofstra University, graduating Summa Cum Laude
and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. As an undergraduate, he held internships in
both the offices of Assemblyman James D. Conte and First Lady Hillary Rodham
Clinton. Lupinacci earned his MBA in Business Administration from the Zarb
School of Business and his Juris Doctor from the Deane School of Law at Hofstra
University. Throughout his years in elected office, Lupinacci has continued to
teach college courses as an adjunct professor at SUNY Farmingdale, St. Joseph’s
College and Hofstra University.
