12/17/2018 - Lupinacci Honored with Distinguished Service Award by Hofstra University George M. Estabrook Alumni Association

Carle Place –Huntington Town Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci was honored with a Distinguished Service Award by Hofstra University’s George M. Estabrook Alumni Association at Chateau Briand in Carle Place on Sunday, December 16.

 

“My career trajectory has been profoundly influenced by the opportunities afforded to me as a student at Hofstra Univserity and now as an adjunct professor. I incorporate aspects of my role in government in the classroom when I am teaching and every semester I have welcomed former students to intern in my office, so the teaching continues outside of the classroom,” said Supervisor Lupinacci in his acceptance speech. “I am a believer that the mark of any society is its educational system and the belief that the education of the next generation is the primary responsibility of the generation then governing. Thank you again for this great honor.”

 

Supervisor Lupinacci earned his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Hofstra University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. As an undergraduate, he held internships in both the offices of Assemblyman James D. Conte and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. Lupinacci earned his MBA in Business Administration from the Zarb School of Business and his Juris Doctor from the Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Throughout his years in elected office, Lupinacci has continued to teach college courses as an adjunct professor at SUNY Farmingdale, St. Joseph’s College and Hofstra University.

 

The George M. Estabrook Distinguished Service Award honors those who have achieved success in their respective fields and have made a positive, noteworthy impact in their communities. The commitment and dedication of the recipients to their respective fields are important, significant and commendable.
