Huntington – The Town of
Huntington Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) will not be holding the public hearing
for the Downtown Huntington application on April 11; the regularly scheduled
ZBA meeting with other matters on the agenda will be held at Huntington Town
Hall, at 100 Main Street, Huntington, on April 11 without the Downtown
Huntington public hearing on the agenda.
After following up with
counsel for the applicant, the ZBA has confirmed the April 11 date will not be
held open for the Downtown Huntington public hearing date; a date has yet to be
determined for the hearing.
On February 8, the Town of
Huntington Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) had received a commitment from Huntington
High School to allow the ZBA to utilize their auditorium for a public hearing
on the Downtown Huntington application, if needed; for April 11, 2019. The ZBA
was awaiting confirmation of the April 11 date from the Downtown Huntington
applicant to inform the relevant Town departments to investigate the location
for the purposes of holding the meeting.
