FUNDING AVAILABLE UNDER THE CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF & ECONOMIC SECURITIES (CARES) ACT
In September of 2020, the Town of Huntington was advised that it received additional funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare for, respond to, and prevent the coronavirus. This funding, in the amount of $1,359,910 has been awarded through the Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) program, and is available to individuals and businesses that have been directly impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, and to those community agencies that provide direct assistance to the residents of Huntington.
The Huntington Community Development Agency oversees the application and disbursement process on behalf of the Town. If you are a business seeking assistance, please complete the Economic Development application. In order to determine if you are eligible to apply for assistance, please read all of the related documentation prior to submitting your application.
If you are a community service agency, please complete the CDBG-CV application.
If you are an individual or family seeking rental assistance or economic relief for overdue utility bills, please fill out the Family and Individual Financial assistance application.
The deadline for all applications is FEBRUARY 1, 2021 AT 4:00 PM.
