Highway Superintendent Kevin S. Orelli NEWS

Kevin S. Orelli is a 3rd generation life-long resident of Huntington.
Prior to being elected as Superintendent of Highways, Kevin was the owner of a successful contracting business with over 45 years of experience working in the construction industry servicing the private and public sectors.
His expansive knowledge in the site development industry specializing in excavation, storm water drainage, sanitary systems, water main installation, roadwork and snow plowing ensures an efficient and economical operation of the Town of Huntington’s Highway Department.
As Supt. of Highways, Kevin will be focusing on storm recovery coordination, road repair (potholes, paving, striping) flooding and drainage. One of his top priorities will be resident communication utilizing the “Huntington at your Service” electronic tracking system which allows problem areas to be identified quickly and resolved cost effectively.
Since taking office in Jan 2018, Highway Supt. Kevin Orelli has hit the ground running, meeting with PSEG, Suffolk County Water Authority, and National Grid to discuss coordination of road maintenance for the 800 miles of roads he is responsible for.
Kevin is committed to his new position as the Town of Huntington’s Highway Superintendent and dedicated to keeping all Huntington roadways safe for easy travel.
Kevin is married to his wife Nancy, they raised 3 sons who are all graduates of the Huntington School District and are now the proud grandparents of 2 beautiful granddaughters.
