
Huntington – Supervisor Chad A.
Lupinacci presented a proclamation from the Town recognizing South Huntington
School District officials in June for U.S. News and World Report naming Walt
Whitman High School the 147th Best Public High School in New York State and
sixteen-hundred-and-eleventh (1,611th) in the national rankings, earning a
Silver Medal.
“Thank you to Dr. David Bennardo,
Superintendent of South Huntington schools, and Principal John Murphy of Walt
Whitman High School for continuing to hold the bar high for academic excellence
and serving the needs of all of our district’s students,” said Supervisor
Lupinacci.
U.S. News and World Report named
