Dix Hills – Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci is calling on residents to help make Christmas dreams come true for underprivileged children by bringing new, unwrapped toys, books and games to the Winter Wonderland free ice skating event taking place at the Dix Hills Ice Rink on Saturday, December 14.
“Entry and ice skating are free for everyone at this weekend’s Winter Wonderland event at Dix Hills Ice Rink but we are asking for donations to help make Christmas a little more merry for underprivileged children this year,” said Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci. “Don’t let a child wake up Christmas morning without a present to open – please donate new, unwrapped toys, books or games.”
New, unwrapped toys may also be dropped off in the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots donation boxes at the following Town facilities now through Friday, December 20:
- Huntington Town Hall, 100 Main Street, Huntington
- Dix Hills Ice Rink, 575 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills
- Huntington Highway Department, 30 Rofay Drive, Huntington
