The Department of Environmental Waste would like to advise all residents of changes to the trash and recycling schedule due to Labor Day.
Trash Collection:
- On Monday, September 1, trash collection is cancelled due to the holiday. This collection is not being rescheduled.
- Residents on Monday and Thursday trash pickup routes will be permitted to dispose of twice the amount of household trash on Thursday, September 4.
- Please put your trash out to the curb no earlier than 6:00pm the night before, since morning collection times may begin earlier than usual due to heat advisories.
- Tuesday and Friday collection routes are scheduled as normal without interruption.
Recycling Collection:
- On Wednesday, September 3, paper and cardboard recycling collection is scheduled for all residents.
- Recycling collection begins at 5:00am. Please put these materials out prior to the start time, preferably the night before pickup.
Yardwaste Collection:
- There is no yardwaste collection scheduled for the week of September 1.
