1/24/2026 - Huntington Supervisor Ed Smyth Declares State of Emergency
Huntington Supervisor Ed Smyth has declared a State of Emergency for the Town of Huntington ahead of the approaching winter storm. This declaration will assist the Town in recouping expenses incurred during storm response and recovery efforts.
“Residents are urged to stay off the roads and to park vehicles in driveways whenever possible,” said Supervisor Smyth. “Keeping streets clear allows our snow plows and emergency vehicles to operate safely and efficiently.”
Town crews are preparing for the storm, and we encourage residents to stay informed, use caution, and remain safe throughout the weather event.
