5/16/2026 - LIRR Strike Ongoing
As of Saturday, May 16, the MTA and Long Island Rail Road workers unions have been unable to reach an agreement during their negotiations. The Long Island Rail Road is currently on strike, and train service is suspended.
The Town of Huntington is committed to keeping residents informed and updated.
