The Town of Huntington has scheduled a special Town Board meeting pursuant to New York Town Law Section 106(3), which requires the Town Clerk to present the Supervisor’s 2027 Tentative Budget to the Town Board no later than October 5, 2026.
The special meeting will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 10:00 am in the Town Board Room located at 100 Main Street, Huntington, NY.
There will be no presentations, no public hearings, no public portion and no resolutions at this meeting. This is a procedural meeting only to ensure the timely presentation of the budget to the Town Board. This is the only item on the agenda.
The Tentative Budget will be available to view on the Town’s website under Audit and Control following the meeting - https://www.huntingtonny.gov/audit-control.
