Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)

Minority & Women's Business Enterprise (M/WBE) 

The Town of Huntington has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the United States Department of Transportation (49 CFR Part 26). It is the policy of the Town to ensure disadvantaged business enterprises can compete fairly for contracts and sub-contracts on federally funded transportation-related projects. 

Laurie Gatto-Arigiriou  has been appointed by the Town Board as DBE Liaison Officer. She is responsible for implementing all aspects of the Town's program and reports directly to the Board on DBE matters.

The Town adheres to a policy of strict non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, religion or disability in the award, administration and performance of any contract or in the administration of its DBE program and takes all necessary and reasonable to assure compliance.
