Huntington Community Development Agency (CDA) is a New York public benefit corporation formed pursuant to Section 654 of the New York State General Municipal Law. The Agency's Board is composed of the same members as the Huntington Town Board.
Since 1977, CDA has worked to serve the needs of low-moderate income residents through various programs and services funded by HUD and other sources.
CDA's administrative offices are housed at the third floor (in Room 309) of Huntington Town Hall, 100 Main Street. In addition, CDA owns and operates the Huntington Opportunity Resource Center (HORC) and Huntington Business Incubator (Biz Inc), located at 1264 and 1268 New York Avenue, Huntington Station, respectively. CDA manages the Town of Huntington's ever-growing inventory of affordable housing, both rental and ownership, and the lotteries that dispense that housing. Among CDA's most popular programs is its Home Rehabilitation Program that provides income-qualified individuals and families with deferred or low-interest financing to address needed and emergency home improvements.
