Town Organizational Chart & Strategic Direction

The Town of Huntington was established in 1653 is governed by Town Law, other general laws of the State of New York and various local laws and ordinances. The Town Supervisor is a member of the Town Board and serves as the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer. The Town Board is the policy-making body of the Town. 

The Town provides the following services to its residents: general and administrative, public safety, citizen and community services, transportation and parking, culture and recreation, utilities, planning and community development and other operations such as refuse disposal and recycling.
