COLLECTION CHANGES FOR JUNETEENTH 2026

The Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to advise all residents about the trash and recycling collection schedule changes due to the Juneteenth Holiday, June 19th, 2026.

Trash Collection:

• Trash collection is canceled on Friday, June 19th due to the holiday. Residents who normally get their trash collected on Friday will be permitted to dispose of twice the amount of trash on their first collection day of the next week: Tuesday, June 23^rd.
• Trash collection begins at 6:00 A.M. Please put these materials out prior to The start time, preferably the night before pickup.
• Monday and Thursday collection routes are scheduled as normal without interruption.

  Recycling Collection:

• Paper Recycling will be collected on Wednesday, June 17th for all residents.
• Recycling collection begins at 5:00 A.M. Please put these materials out prior to The start time, preferably the night before pickup.

  Yardwaste Collection:

• There will be no yard waste collection scheduled for the week of June 15^th.
