Important Schedule Updates & Department News

The Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to advise all residents about the trash and recycling collection schedule changes Monday, June 23rd through Saturday, June 28th. 

Trash Collection:

• Monday, June 23rd through Saturday June 28th, carters will be permitted to begin trash collection at 5:00am due to a heat advisory and poor air quality. Please place your trash out to the curb no earlier than 6:00pm the night before your scheduled collection day to avoid  missing an early collection.

Recycling Collection:

• Recycling for bottles and cans will be collected on Wednesday, June 25th for all residents.

• Recycling collection begins at 5:00 A.M. Please put these materials out prior to The start time, preferably the night before pickup.

 Yard waste Collection:

• This week is a yard waste collection week. Yard waste will be collected on Thursday or Friday based on your designated collection day. To find your collection day please click here.
• Yard waste is limited to 10 cans or bags, no heavier than 50 lbs. per piece. For more information on yard waste collection please click here.
