To Submit an Application for a Permit Online:
Applications for Permits must be submitted on the Town’s application portal:
- Select the type of permit needed by clicking the blue SELECT button. PLEASE carefully select the appropriate permit type before paying the NON-REFUNDABLE Application Fee.
- Set up a "Citizen Service" Account, which will allow you: access to your property information, tracking of permit progress and status, and password protected secure payments for permits. This is required to submit any application.
If your property is in an INCORPORATED VILLAGE, please contact your Village for Permitting information.
Apply Online in the Town Portal for:
- Amendment for Existing Active BUILDING Permit
Amendments are for any changes to approved Residential and Commercial BUILDING construction plans that will require review.
- Residential Building Permit
New: Construction, Additions, Alterations; and ALL Existing/Built Without Permit Residential projects
- Residential Express Permit
New Work Only: Demolition, Outdoor Kitchen/BBQ, Pools/Hot Tubs/Spas, Sheds (144-200 SF)/Chicken Coop (<200 SF), Solar, Mobile Home, and Letter of Denial - ONLY these permit types are 'Express'
- Residential Replacement Permit
Direct replacement of expired permit ONLY
- Commercial Building Permit
New and Existing: Additions, Alterations, HVAC, & New Construction on property zoned Commercial; New Tenant and Outdoor Seating
- Commercial Replacement Permit
Direct replacement of Commercial expired permit ONLY
- Wireless Antennas within Town's Right-of-Way
Use this permit type to apply for individual antennas located within the Town's street right-of-way only. Antennas on private or public parcels should use the 'Commercial Building Permit' type.
- Plumbing Permit
Wastewater, Irrigation/Sprinkler, Generator, Natural Gas/LPG
- Master & Reciprocal Plumbers License
New or Renewal of either type of Plumber Licensing
