Fees

• Application Fee - Payment of the $50 Non-Refundable Application fee is required for all Building and Housing permits to be submitted for review.

  • In addition to this initial application fee, the Permit fee will include costs:
  • (1) For residential use, the base permit fee shall be one hundred twenty-five ($125) dollars.
  • (2) For commercial/non-residential use, the base permit fee shall be six hundred twenty-five ($625) dollars.
  • (3) In addition to the base permit fee, the square footage of construction based on submitted plans/survey are used to calculate the Permit Fee.
  • (4) Certificate of Occupancy/Completion fee of $62.50
  • Permit Fees - shall be determined by the floor area of a proposed addition, alteration, or new building. [See Town Code 87-23]         
  • Fixed Fees - are not subject to the minimum fee or based upon square footage. [See Town Code 87-23].
  • Unauthorized Construction or Use - The permit fee for a building permit shall be three (3) times the amount established in this article if construction/project work, new tenant, or the change of use has been commenced or completed at any time before a permit is issued by the Town.
