ACEERS Meetings & Community Outreach
ACEERS volunteers regularly at the Family Earth Day Expos and Long Island Naturally Fairs to talk with attendees about home energy efficiency as part of its outreach initiatives. ACEERS predecessor, the RETF, conducted a series of Home Energy Efficiency Clinics at libraries around the Town.
ACEERS joined forces with a variety of member Towns and community organization to promote the Long Island Green Homes Program a non-profit collaborative project administered by The Sustainability Institute at Molloy College.
2026 ACEERS Monthly Meeting Schedule (Subject to change):
The public is welcome at all ACEERS monthly meetings (7:00 PM -8:30PM) usually via teleconference. Meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of the month in Town Hall, barring a conflict with any holiday celebration.
