Public Safety

The Public Safety Department is responsible for coordinating public safety, code inspection and code enforcement functions of the Town of Huntington as well as maintaining the Town’s Animal Shelter. The mission of the Public Safety Department is to safeguard the citizens and visitors of the Town of Huntington by protecting life and property, preserving the peace, preventing crime and enforcing Town ordinances. We strive to provide an exemplary level of professional service in fulfilling this mission of delivering public services efficiently and effectively.
