Councilwoman Jennifer Hebert
Jennifer Hebert has been working on behalf of the Huntington community since she and her husband, Jamie, moved here to start their family 30 years ago. The history of the area, the diverse community and the charming town and neighborhoods made Huntington the perfect place to raise their three sons, Ben, Will and Sam – all proud graduates of Huntington High School.
Jen is an educator by profession with a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Tufts University. She has worked in many aspects of education including as a public-school teacher in Massachusetts, a nursery school classroom teacher and an administrator. She has been the director of St. John’s Nursery School in Huntington village for 12 years where she’s had the honor of guiding and enriching the lives of Huntington’s youngest students and their families.
Jen also spent 9 years on the Huntington School Board as a Trustee, Vice President, and President. She is very proud of her time as a school board member and learned some invaluable lessons about teamwork and representing community while serving. She currently serves on the board of the Huntington Public Library.
Jen Hebert is known for her common-sense approach to issues and her ability to work collaboratively with people. She’s ready to bring her dedication and energy to the Huntington Town Council and is so honored for the chance to represent her community.
