In an effort to improve efficiency and quality control, the Town of Huntington will be making changes at Dix Hills Park, including: Clark Gillies Arena and Dix Hills Pool.  

Effective December 1, 2025, all financial transactions at the park will be cashless.  All services will require payment in any of the following forms:  All major credit cards(MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover), Check or Apple Pay.  As we begin preparing for this transition, we are giving patrons advanced notice to help acclimate to the new payment system. 
 
In addition, during this transition period, we are requesting all cash payments made at the Park to be with currency no larger than a $20.00 bill.  
 
We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause.  However we believe these steps are in the best interest of the Town of Huntington, our residents, and patrons of Dix Hills Park.

Parks & Recreation

We have a wide variety of recreational programs for our residents of all ages, from preschoolers to senior citizens at our town operated facilities, parks and beaches. From instructional programs and sports leagues to public ice skating and summer camps, there is something for everyone. As these programs vary seasonally, check our website to keep up to date on our upcoming program activities and events.

We offer a resident Recreation /Golf I.D. cards which offer discounts on Parks & Recreation Department programs, admission to the ice rink, swimming pool, Town of Huntington golf courses, and free entry into the spray park.
