Division of Code Enforcement

Consisting of the Code Enforcement Bureau, the Accessory Apartment Bureau and the Sign Bureau, this division enforces the Town Code as well as any state and local laws, statutes, ordinances, codes, rules or regulations pertinent to matters within the jurisdiction of town government, including the New York State Property Maintenance Code, through measures emphasizing compliance, performing inspections to determine compliance and conducting investigations to determine the existence of violations reported and/or observed.
